Katherine McConnell is the CEO and Founder of leading Australian fintech Brighte, providing finance for home energy improvements. Since commencement, Brighte has approved over $440m for 40,000+ Australian homeowners & small to medium businesses.

Before Brighte, Katherine worked in Investment Banking and Financial Services for 20 years, 14 of those at Macquarie Bank as a founding member of their Australian Energy Leasing business. Katherine also worked as an Economist in the Department of Finance and Policy Analyst in Federal Treasury.

Katherine is a recognised leader in the Australian start-up community, winning multiple awards, including Fintech Leader of the Year & featured in the Deloitte Fast 50 winner’s circle.
