Dr Sophie Wood is a partner at Environmental Resources Management, a global environmental, health, safety and sustainability consultancy. Sophie has 28 years experience in consultancy, specialising in cleaning up contaminated land and assessing the risks to health and the environment from environmental pollution. Sophie is a trustee of and chairs the ERM Foundation, which is a staff run charity that raises funds and uses ERM staff expertise to contribute to environmental and sustainable development projects in partnership with selected partner charities, of which the Valley Centre is one. Sophie has a degree in Geology from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in geochemistry from the University of Leeds, UK.
